At Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) we know that it takes the community to help with our success. We prioritize giving back to the community throughout the year and support many great causes. Coon Rapids CDJR understands that children are our future and many of our efforts focus on working with children and women. We do this by working closely with local public schools, the Alexandra House, Hope 4 Youth, and many more. In 2022, we were honored to be recognized with the Community Hero Award from the Minnesota Automobile Dealership Association (MADA).

The mission of Alexandra House is to empower women and children who are victims of violence, and inspire social change, through education, support, and advocacy. The Coon Rapids American Legion Post 334 is proud to be part of the world’s largest Veteran organizations! Mercy Health Foundation’s nonprofit mission is to provide exceptional care, prevent illness, and restore health to all who entrust them with their care. They serve thousands of individuals who need compassionate health care in our community. Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans MACV serves Minnesota Veterans who are either homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless and their families. Their goal is to end veteran homelessness in Minnesota. Pohlad Family Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life and opportunities for those most in need in the Twin Cities region. Genesys Works’ mission is to provide pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities. The Disabled American Veterans of MN Foundation works to improving the lives of Veterans and their Families, and help them get the benefits and support they need. TB1Fund’s mission is to brighten days for patients and families at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. Minnesota Softball Military Appreciation Foundation MSMA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded to provide an avenue for the softball community to give back to veterans throughout Minnesota and the Midwest. The VFW is an organization set up to help out all veterans! They also donate to youth activities, community service, and fight for soldier benefits on Capitol Hill. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Stepping Stones Emergency Housing A homeless shelter that meets residents’ needs while helping them take steps to establish a home of their own. Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare specializes in treating children with brain, bone, and movement conditions. For 125 years, they have provided highly trained specialists, and comprehensive family-centered care. HOPE 4 Youth is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Anoka County that helps young people, ages 16 to 24, who are experiencing homelessness in the northern Twin Cities metro area. Coon Rapids High School is a large community school for grades 9 through 12 in the north metro (Minneapolis-St. Paul) area. Anoka High School is one of the oldest and largest high schools in the state of Minnesota. It serves grades 9–12 for the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11. Andover High School is one of five traditional high schools in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. Blaine High School, part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11, first opened in 1972. In 2007 it became a specialty school as a Center for Engineering, Math and Science. Fridley High School is a Magnet School within the Northwest Suburban Integration School District. As a member of the Minnesota School District 14 it is certified to offer an International Baccalaureate program Centennial High School is located 20 minutes north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. It serves the communities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino Lakes, Hamilton Elementary School, located in Coon Rapids, was built and opened in the fall of 1965. Hamilton enrollment averages about 450 students for Kindergarten to Grade 5. Special Olympics Minnesota – Polar Plunge The Polar Plunge, presented by Minnesota law enforcement, is an opportunity to support Special Olympics Minnesota by jumping into frigid waters. The Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association (MADA) named Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram as one of its 2022 Community Heroes. We are honored to receive this recognition for our commitment to supporting local organizations through time, talent, and financial contributions.
